What is the best time of year to sell a home in New Jersey?
By Bob Millaway, South Jersey Community Expert & REALTOR®
Spring and early summer are traditionally the most active selling seasons in New Jersey, with the highest buyer demand, more showings, and typically higher sale prices. Homes listed in April through June often sell faster and closer to asking price. However, selling in any season is possible with the right pricing and marketing strategy. Winter buyers are often more motivated.
Why It Matters
Timing the market can impact your sale price and how long your home sits on the market.
