How do I install a new faucet?
By Bob Millaway, South Jersey Community Expert & REALTOR®
Shut off the water supply valves under the sink and disconnect the supply lines. Remove the old faucet by unscrewing mounting nuts from below. Clean the sink surface and insert the new faucet through the mounting holes. Secure it from below with the provided mounting hardware. Connect the supply lines to the faucet tails, then connect the other ends to the shutoff valves. Turn the water back on and check for leaks.
Why It Matters
Installing a new faucet is one of the most rewarding DIY plumbing projects. It updates your kitchen or bathroom for a fraction of professional installation cost.
