Why does my home feel humid in the summer?

High indoor humidity in summer is often caused by an oversized air conditioner that cools too quickly without running long enough to remove moisture. Other causes include poor ventilation, a dirty evaporator coil, refrigerant issues, or moisture sources like cooking and showers. Your AC should run long enough to both cool and dehumidify. A properly sized system and regular maintenance are key to managing humidity.
