When should I have my electrical system inspected?
By Bob Millaway, South Jersey Community Expert & REALTOR®
Have your electrical system inspected every 10 years for wiring, outlets, panel, and ground fault circuit interrupters. Schedule an inspection sooner if you notice flickering lights, frequent breaker trips, warm outlets, or if your home is more than 40 years old with original wiring.
Why It Matters
Outdated or faulty electrical systems are a leading cause of house fires. Regular inspections catch hazards before they become dangerous.
