How often should I inspect my foundation?
By Bob Millaway, South Jersey Community Expert & REALTOR®
Inspect your foundation twice a year, in spring and fall. Walk around your home looking for new cracks, shifting, or bowing walls. Indoors, check for cracks in drywall, doors that stick, or windows that no longer close properly. Address any changes promptly with a foundation specialist.
Why It Matters
Foundation problems worsen over time. Early detection allows for less invasive and less expensive repairs.
