How often should I clean my windows?
By Bob Millaway, South Jersey Community Expert & REALTOR®
Clean interior windows every two to three months. Clean exterior windows twice a year, in spring and fall. If you live near construction or busy roads, clean more frequently. Use a squeegee and mild soapy water for streak-free results. Check window seals for fogging, which indicates a failed seal.
Why It Matters
Clean windows let in more natural light, improve your home's appearance, and help you spot seal issues early.
