What should I look for during a home inspection?
By Bob Millaway, South Jersey Community Expert & REALTOR®
Attend the inspection and look for roof condition, signs of water damage in the basement or attic, the age of the HVAC and water heater, electrical panel condition, plumbing quality, foundation cracks, and proper drainage around the property. Ask the inspector questions about any concerns. The inspection is your best opportunity to understand the true condition of the home.
Why It Matters
A thorough home inspection reveals hidden issues that could cost thousands to repair. Attending helps you make an informed decision and negotiate effectively.
